Ursuline Academy is thrilled to share in the announcement that Pat Witt Harris ’62, as well as the Ursuline Sisters, are the recipients of Marian Middle School’s 2025 Award of Excellence. As founders of Marian Middle School, their vision and dedication helped lay the foundation for the Marian community known in St. Louis today. Marian Middle School is celebrating its 25th year of providing life-altering education to young women, and equipping them to make informed decisions, and creating enduring, positive change.
When a small group began to explore their dream of initiating a Nativity Model School for girls in St. Louis, Pat was one of the first people invited. She gave an instantaneous and excited response, expressing her desire to be involved. She has been involved since the first meeting in 1998, serving on numerous committees, on the board and as its chair, as well as being the go-to person on Ursuline’s staff for students from Marian who have come to Ursuline Academy.
She and the Ursuline Sisters will be honored as the 2025 Award of Excellence at Marian Magic on Sunday, April 27, 2025. Learn more about the event by clicking here.
Congratulations to Pat and the Ursuline Sisters for this honor and their embodiment of the legacy of St. Angela Merici.
