Ursuline Academy, a thriving Catholic, college-prep high school for girls located in Kirkwood, MO, is seeking applicants for several positions for the 2024-2025 school year.  Our faculty and staff demonstrate passion and care in all that we do, striving to meet each student where she is and helping her create a personalized educational, social and spiritual path. Ursuline Academy is currently seeking applications for the position(s): 

English Teacher (Starting 2nd Semester 2025)

Ursuline Academy seeks a dynamic, collaborative full-time English teacher starting second semester (January, 2025).

Responsibilities include teaching 10th grade World Literature and Composition and 11th grade American Literature in a student-centered, academically challenging all-girls Catholic High School.  Applicants should be prepared to assess and offer feedback, develop critical thinking skills, and build positive relationships with students.  Experience in a high school setting is preferred.

Athletic Trainer
We are seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer to provide care and support to our student-athletes. This part-time, seasonal role will focus on injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes during practices and home games.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide on-site medical care during practices and home games.
  • Assess, treat, and manage injuries, including emergency care when necessary.
  • Develop rehabilitation plans and work with athletes to ensure proper recovery.
  • Communicate with coaches, athletes, and parents regarding injury status and care plans.
  • Ensure all medical records and injury reports are accurately maintained.
  • Advise on injury prevention strategies and educate athletes on safety protocols.

Hours

  • Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM on days when home games are scheduled.
  • Occasional weekend games as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Current certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the state of Missouri.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
