Annual Auction - Ursuline Soirée


The annual UA Soirée Dinner Auction is Ursuline Academy's largest fundraising event of the school year. It serves as a way to bring the community together and support the school’s immediate needs. In the 2024-2025 school year, Ursuline educated almost 400 young women, with 52% receiving academic scholarships and financial aid awards. Thanks to the UA Soirée partners this year, we raised over $210,000 to directly benefit these students.

FAQs

What is the UA Soirée?

The UA Soirée Dinner Auction is Ursuline Academy’s annual auction. It is the largest fundraising event of the school year. All proceeds support the school’s greatest needs and directly impact Ursuline students. As we are inspired by St. Angela and her devotion to the education of young women for Christian living and leadership, we look at this auction as our opportunity to support her legacy. We hope that you join us in showing your support and continuing St. Angela’s mission! This year’s auction will be hosted on campus on February 7, 2026, doors open at 5:30 p.m.

How do I participate?

You can participate in the UA Soirée in the following ways:

  • Become a sponsor and receive exclusive sponsor benefits
  • Purchase an advertisement to be included in our Auction program
  • Donate a good and/or service to be included in our Live or Silent Auction. Not sure what to donate? Check out the Auction’s Amazon Wishlist.
  • Attend the auction with a group of your fellow parents, classmates, and/or friends.
  • Volunteer on the Auction Committee or on the evening of the Auction

Who attends the UA Soirée?

The UA Soirée is a Ursuline Academy community-wide event and all members over the age of 21 are encouraged to attend. Each year we have a variety of current parents, grandparents, past parents, alumnae, coworkers, and friends of UA attend the Auction.

If you plan to attend the UA Soirée on Saturday, February 7, 2026, you can purchase individual tickets or a full table of 10. Invitations will be mailed at the beginning of November and tickets will be available for purchase starting November 1, 2025. We hope to see you there!

If you are unable to attend in person, you can still bid on Silent Auction items, purchase raffle tickets, donate to Fund-A-Need, or make a general donation! If you wish to purchase raffle tickets, silent items, or make a donation, you will be asked to enter your credit card information to be charged.

Prior to the auction, please register for FREE on the Auction website, hosted by BidPal, to view auction items, raffle information, and other donation opportunities.

What can I expect if I attend the UA Soirée Dinner Auction?

The UA Soirée will include a sit-down dinner, open bar offering beer, wine and spirits, dessert, and dancing to live music. 

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and guests will enter the Ursuline Academy Convocation & Athletic Center. Guests will be greeted by an Ursuline Auction volunteer to get checked in. The Silent Auction will take place in O'Hara Hall with dinner and Live Auction in the Gym. You will have time to grab a drink and view all the Auction items – both Silent & Live.

The program and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. After dinner, the raffle winners will be announced and the Live Auction portion of the night will commence with Fund-A-Need taking place halfway through. The evening ends with an open dance floor with a live band, Kelly's Heroes.

May I request who sits at my table?

Yes! When you purchase your tickets, you will have a seating preference option. Please enter the names of attendees who you wish to sit at your table. Include their email and/or phone number, if possible. All attendees at your table will need to purchase tickets and also indicate the last names of guests at your table when registering.

For any changes to your seating preferences, please auction@ursulinestl.org.

What if I do not have a table preference?

No worries! We will seat you with familiar faces. When purchasing your ticket, in the seating preference field you can indicate your daughter’s grade, graduation year, your alumnae class year, sports team, etc. For example, if you put freshman or Class of 2029 in the seating preference, we will seat you with other freshman parents.

What food and drink will be available at the Auction?

A sit-down dinner will be served including salad, entrée, and dessert. Water, coffee, wine, and a full open bar will be available. Vegetarian and special dietary requests can be made when you purchase your ticket.

What is the attire?

Cocktail attire with an Ursuline red twist!

What kind of items are available to buy or bid on?

There are many ways to participate and support the UA Soirée! You can buy a raffle ticket, bid on Silent Auction items, purchase an buy now item, donate to Fund-A-Need, or bid on a Live Auction item. At Ursuline Academy’s Auction, we try to provide a wide variety of items at all price points to allow everyone to support the Auction in some way.

When can I preview and bid on items?

  • You can preview and start bidding on Silent Auction items on Thursday, February 5, 2026. The bidding closes the night of the UA Soirée, Saturday, February 7 at 10:00 pm.
  • All guests can sign in for free to view Auction items. 
  • If you wish to purchase raffle tickets, silent items, or make a donation, you will be asked to enter your credit card information to be charged.
  • You can preview Live Auction items beginning the week of the UA Soirée. Only attendees who have purchased a ticket and will attend in-person on February 7, 2026 can bid on and win Live Auction items.

How To Bid?

What happens if I am the winning bidder?

  • If you win a raffle, Silent Auction, or Live Auction item, you will be notified by text and/or email through the Auction website hosted by Bidpal. When the UA Soirée closes the night of February 1, 2025, the credit card you entered during online registration will be charged and you will receive an itemized receipt.
  • If you attend in-person, you will pick up your items after the UA Soirée has concluded on February 7, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. Any items not picked up that evening, can be picked up at Ursuline Academy on Sunday, February 8, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. You can park in the back parking lot and enter the doors by the back circle drive. If you live outside of St. Louis or need a different pickup time, please contact auction@ursulinestl.org or (314) 984-2864. Winners will be responsible for any shipping costs.
