This month we honored our 2024 Recipients of our annual Alumnae Awards at our Alumnae Induction ceremony. The two recipients addressed the class of 2024 and shared with them what Serviam has meant to them throughout their lives and how they carry the Ursuline legacy today. Both of these women embody Serviam and our Ursuline values, and we are thrilled to recognize them for all their achievements.
Congratulations to our 2024 recipients:
Denise Hedrick Huber ’87
Distinguished Alumna
Denise’s dedication to service began with caring for her brother who had spina bifida. This experience and the Ursuline charism solidified her calling to serving others. Denise, along with her mother and other family members co-founded Martha’s Hands Home Care Services in 1997, now a leading compassionate, professional Home Care Service organization. Denise develops training programs and caregiver recognition events, resulting in a turnover rate of less than half the national average. Denise is active in many industry and faith-based organizations and her family is involved in their parish and Catholic organizations. Through her work and personal life, Denise has consistently embodied the spirit of “Serviam.”
