Ursuline Academy is currently seeking applications for the following teaching positions:

  • Full Time Spanish Teacher
    ---  Master’s degree in Spanish preferred
  • Full Time Mathematics Teacher
    ---  Master’s degree in Mathematics preferred
  • Part Time Theology Teacher (60% of full time)
    --- Experience teaching Catholic theology (high school level) preferred
  • Part Time Social Studies Teacher (60% of full time)

Ursuline Academy is currently seeking applications for the following positions:

Finance Associate  -  Full Time

Responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general organization of the Finance Office 

  • Perform weekly accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and occasional bank deposits 

  • Manage the tuition billing system and assist with collection of tuition

  • Manage the Academy’s corporate credit cards

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of fund-raising accounts

  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations, required tax filings, the annual audit, and producing the annual budget

  • Identify and track all fixed assets

  • Create and maintain all vendor files

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience

  • A thorough understanding of accounting practices and principles

  • Knowledge of Quickbooks and FACTS preferred.

Director of Campus Ministry  -  Full Time

Director of Campus Ministry
Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the school's pastoral activities, and assisting with the development and implementation of student spiritual formation. Work hours may vary and will include some evenings and weekends. 

  • Coordinates and supervises the planning of the school's liturgies and prayer services
  • Supervises the planning and execution of the school's retreat programs
  • Grows and evaluates our service program offerings
  • Builds opportunities for reflection and prayer within the community
  • Assures the coordination of Junior Service which includes recruiting the faculty and participating agencies, approving all placement sites, and organizing the Commissioning Ceremony and Junior Service retreat days 
  • Assures the coordination of the Community Service Program which includes establishing and organizing sites and record keeping for students who participate in community service programs
  • Leads efforts to align the pastoral programs with theology and student activities
  • Creates leadership opportunities for students to help build pastoral programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in theology or pastoral leadership preferred
  • Successful pastoral leadership experiences at the high school level
  • Strong understanding of liturgy, community service, and retreat programs 
  • Excellent organization and communication skills 
  • Practicing Catholic who is willing to share one's faith journey

Esports Coach

Are you passionate about Esports and ready to lead a dynamic program to new heights?

Ursuline Academy is seeking an experienced Esports Coach to join our team and elevate our competitive gaming program during the fall and winter seasons.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance players' skills and teamwork. 
  • Strategize and plan for upcoming competitions, including selecting appropriate games for our team to compete in.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship and camaraderie.
  • Utilize our state-of-the-art Esports room to provide hands-on coaching and support during practice sessions and matches.
  • Collaborate with school administrators to promote the Esports program and recruit new players.
  • Monitor players' progress and provide individualized feedback to help them improve their performance.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in the Esports industry to keep our program competitive.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct engaging and skill-focused practice sessions that align with the goals of the program.
  • Provide individualized instruction and feedback to help players improve their technique and understanding of the game.
  • Develop game strategies and tactics to maximize the team's performance during competitions.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with the varsity coaching staff to ensure continuity and alignment across the entire field hockey program.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administrators regarding team expectations, schedules, and any relevant updates.

  • Prior coaching experience in field hockey, preferably at the high school level.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the head coach in planning and conducting effective practice sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and strategy.
  • Provide support and instruction to players during drills and scrimmages to enhance their individual and collective performance.
  • Assist with game preparation, including scouting opponents, analyzing game footage, and developing game plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with the head coach and other assistant coaches to ensure consistency and alignment across the entire field hockey program.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administrators regarding team expectations, schedules, and any relevant updates.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the head coach in planning and implementing comprehensive training programs to develop athletes' skills in cheerleading, tumbling, stunting, and dance.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to athletes during practices and performances to ensure safety, technique, and performance quality.
  • Collaborate with the coaching staff to choreograph routines for competitions, pep rallies, and other events.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, camaraderie, and personal growth.
  • Support the head coach in administrative tasks such as organizing tryouts, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing team budgets.
  • Assist with recruiting and retaining talented athletes to ensure the continued success of the program.

Qualifications: 

  • A passion for cheerleading and a strong desire to help athletes reach their full potential.
  • Prior experience coaching or participating in cheerleading, preferably at the high school or collegiate level.
  • Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, safety guidelines, and competition rules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching team.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and any other relevant coaching certifications per MSHSAA
